THE VILLAGES

Welcome to Al Bandar

Long ago, in the high mountain valley of Douma and the villages around it, there was a legendary marketplace known to travelers, traders, and artisans simply as El Bandar. It was the heart of the region, a bustling trading post where caravans stopped to exchange the finest goods, from rich mountain olive oils to hand-woven textiles.

Inspired by this rich heritage, Al Bandar was born to bring that very same village magic directly to your doorstep.

We source our products directly from small-scale farmers, honeybees in the high cliffs, and local artisans who keep ancestral crafts alive. When you open a jar of our golden honey, pour our cold-pressed olive oil, or wear our handmade crochet, you aren't just buying a product. You are bringing a piece of authentic Lebanese village history into your home.

Pure. Handcrafted. True to our roots.

HOW AL BANDAR BEGAN

A direct path from the villages to you

Al Bandar started as a simple idea: that the honey, oil, and textiles already made in Douma and the villages around it deserved a way to reach people beyond them, without losing what made them worth having. No middlemen, no mass production. Just the villages and whoever orders from them.
